This is the story of my three little cousins. Okay, well, they're not that little anymore, but they're still significant sweeties in my life.
Amber recently graduated from flight attendant school. I'm really happy for her; love to hear about all of her adventures. That's one job I could never do. I used to love flying, but I've hit some serious turbulence a time or two and don't have much of a desire to find myself in the friendly skies anymore. My dad used to take flying lessons when I was in my teens. I loved going with him on Sunday afternoons, but times have changed for this not-so-frequent flyer. Anyway, Amber is loving it and I'm so glad. I hope she meets a hot pilot or two.
Shea is in her junior year of college. I don't see her much anymore, but she's making it. She lost her mother (my aunt) to breast cancer 8 years ago, but she's a strong-willed girl. As much as I miss her, I'm glad to see her escape certain things around here. She's a little on the prissy side, which she'll admit. We had a tiff on my wedding day because I begged her not to go to Richmond (which is a good 45 minutes away) to buy a pair of earrings, of all things. She and Amber were two of my bridesmaids and I needed them for pictures at 2pm. So 1:50pm rolled around and she and Amber were still in Richmond...shopping...on my wedding day.
Heather is on the other side of the family and closer to my age. She just got married last September in Jamaica and has moved away, too. In fact, she just opened a gym over near Indy; she has always been a fantastic gymnast. When we were growing up I tried to emulate every tumble and flip, but there was no way I could compare. In fact, she was supposed to go to the Olympics one year but she had a bad fall off the beam or something like that. I've always been proud of her. With both of us having blazing red hair, people often thought we were sisters. We were both only childs though.
That's the fems of my fam in a nut shell, just for the record.

what kind of bridesmaid would do that? oh well, that's family for you. i have one girl cousin that's like my sister, even though over the years we've grown apart in tastes, lifestyles and what not...still it's good to have family. :)
