Thanksgiving '05--A Day in Pictures

Food, folks, and fun abound in this year's fabulous folly-filled festivities with the fam.

Braden decided to take "orders" for personalized bracelets and necklaces. Here, he is seen with my mom as he sets up shop in front of the fireplace.

BUSTED! Husband is caught snatching up more baked goods. In addition to the meal, he devoured NINE pieces of pie before calling it a day--that's 3 pumpkin and 6 sugar cream. I'm pretty sure we'd still be grazing if I hadn't been so anxious to escape certain cacophony.

Tracties, and dozers, and loaders, oh my! Clayton discovered the indoor playhouse that my cousin and I used to play in.

My littlest cousin, Austin, preparing for a walk in the woods. We don't go over the river and through the woods until after the meal. Due to the arctic blast that blew in full force today, I refrained this year, as did a few others.

Austin's brother, Braden, sending down more trucks from the top of the playhouse.

Cousin Heather and her husband, Justin. They've been married a year now, but to hear they're ranting today, you'd think they were an old married couple.

Grandpa, Clayton, Steve, Harold, Bob, Justin, and Jeff; Braden and Austin in front

Just couldn't take any more excitement. Clayton fell asleep two point two minutes after getting strapped into his car seat. If you look closely, you can see encrusted drool. The poor kid ate nothing but a slice of Velveeta all day (a definite rarity) and still needed a nap.

Even Leila got her share.
