"Legs & Thys"

It's been up for several days and yet the sign has eluded me each and every time I drove by this week. Our local KFC apparently has "Legs & Thys" on special.

Now I know I've mentioned that such obvious errors tend to give me the twitches, but I'm really not THAT much of a stickler. In fact, anyone on my IM list could tell you how haphazard I can be with my own grammar. Oh yeah, and when I leave messages on blogs--yeah, the rules go out the window from time to time. Accidents and carelessness happen to us all. But somehow I have a serious issue with major establishments flaunting such goofiness, right out there in the bright lights and all.

Thys???? Geesh...

THYS? I mean, what is wrong with them? Mistakes happen but are you telling me that ALL the people in that place don't see it? LOL.

Have mercy.

What does it take to change the lettering? Don't know but I see it all the time.

suz & Rose: It doesn't seem like it would take much. I worked at a place with a marquee once and it wasn't that complicated.

christina: Ha! You have a good point. I think that's my problem, too, because I can't keep up with my thoughts sometimes.

curious: Now, now...I didn't say boycott! ;)

momy: I think that's my biggest issue with the whole mess...it's one thing to make a personal mistake, but when EVERYONE accepts it, now, well, that's just a different story...

vani: Great point. I never even thought of that and yet it makes perfect sense.
