Some Linkage Worth Checking Out

My blog buddy Rose is up for an award for being a swell new author. Cast your vote at http://www.cushcity.com/displaypages/votingnew.php. You can check out her blog, too, for more information by clicking on her name to the right of this page.

If you're into thrills, enter for two tickets to be the first to ride "Skyhawk," the new swing ride that debuts in a special media event on May 6th, 2006 at Cedar Point--"America's Rockin' Rollin' Coast." *shivers* Ah, I love that place. Anyway, give me some competition by filling out your own entry at http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/fun/contests/index.cfm.

And for the cooks. If you do not already get the Kraft Food & Family Magazine, it is a must for your mail box--and it is completely FREE. I believe it's a quarterly publication, but it is a full-size magazine chock-full of awesome recipes, cooking tips, and health information. Oh, and coupons. So sign up for yours now at http://www.kraftfoods.com/connect. Or write them at Food & Family Magazine, P.O. Box Y, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18703. (I just made the fettuccine cacciatore and it is AWESOME.)

I am all about signing up for the Cedar Point ride. I was telling some people here at lunch about the Top Thrill Dragster. I love that place, my favourite amusement park by far.

I don't think I could ride that new ride at Cedar Point. Not really much of a thrill seeker. I do remember going to Cedar Point as a child and looking at this shark they had in their aquarium.

pirate: Aw! You'd LOOOOVVVE it! ;)

teresa: I'm in central Indiana. Not far from you, it looks like.

marv: Yes, it is the best!

rose: YW.

Scott: oh ho ho! TTD is so much dang fun. I was in line last year when it malfunctioned and came backwards down the track. That was one of the scariest moments of my life.

suz: You'll really like the Kraft magazine. It's neat.

angel: I don't think they have the sharks anymore, but I can't remember. That place is my heaven on earth...
